Ricky's passion for photography and ability to capture his clients personalities has made him one of the premier photographers in the Sacramento area. Ricky picked up his first Nikon in high school and has been shooting ever since. Twenty years later, in 2014, he started his business Ricky Ashmun Photography which had always been a dream for him.

Nickname: Only nickname that he has is "Meat" which his wife calls him. "Meat" came from a scene in the movie, Bull Durham, and basically refers to a pitcher with more physical talent then intellectual. Although it is a more of a term of endearment coming from Ricky's wife.
Favorite Things: Besides Ricky's love for photography, he also enjoys watching his Oakland Athletics play with a hot dog with sauerkraut and mustard in one hand and a beer in the other. Ricky is also a huge fan of the television show "The Office" and he finds it difficult to go through a whole day without referencing at least once.
Little Known Fact: Ricky met his wife, Danielle, at Carl's Jr. where Ricky worked his first job as a cook and Danielle thought she was his boss as a "Shift Leader."
Ricky's Philosophy: "Believe in yourself" When Ricky went off to college at, The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, he received a simple gift from his grandmother. The gift was a small 2"x2" framed print that simply said "Believe in yourself."
